Chris Galanos (born February 7, 1982) is the pastor of Experience Life in Lubbock, Texas and was recently named the youngest mega-church pastor in the country. The church was founded in his living room in 2007 and has since grown to an average weekly attendance of over 3,500 people. Experience Life was named the 8th fastest growing church in the nation in 2009 and the 2nd fastest growing church in the nation in 2010. Experience Life also made the Top 100 fastest growing churches list in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Chris has written a number of articles for ''Outreach'' Magazine on corporate prayer and church methodology. == Personal life == Chris Galanos was born Feb 7, 1982 in Lubbock, TX. He graduated from Monterey High School in 2000. During his High School years, he became a Microsoft Certified Professional at age 15 and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer at age 16. He graduated at the top of his engineering class from Texas Tech University in 2003. He was a Computer Science major. After graduating, he led a worship band at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church for a college ministry of 800 students. He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 2005-2006 and received a Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in Biblical Languages. He was given the President's Scholar award upon graduation for scholastic achievement.
